This project was an exercise of observing user experiences and applying brand language to a product.

The objective of this project was to enhance the home theater experience with a higher quality surround sound base channel, and conserve space by combining furniture and speaker elements. The out come is the Bass Coffee Table. The table is strategically placed in the center of the room to create a symmetric bass sound (which is usually lost when the sub-woofer is traditionally placed away from foot traffic areas), and a higher quality 12" Pioneer speaker set is used instead of a single 8" standard driver. Its placement is also useful as a coffee table using Peruvian walnut for most of the outer shell. The center strut is Rose wood and its finished off with six clear coats to protect the wood.

This was a senior year project. I designed an ergonomic electric guitar, which will begin its testing phases very soon. The project addresses the guitar player's natural sitting position and its stresses on the body.
